ABOUT SSL CERTIFICATES
Community Means Caring.
A community bank is only as successful as the community it serves. Community Bank & Trust is fortunate to serve wonderful, caring communities with dynamic local businesses, spirit-filled schools that work, and good people who take care of each other. It is our privilege and responsibility to support the activities that matter most to our customers. All of our employees, management, directors and advisory board members give generously of their time and attention to local causes.
Supporting Schools and Students
There is nothing more important to the long-term success of our communities than education for our children. Community Bank & Trust sponsors a range of activities that support local schools and students.
SchoolMessenger/Blackboard Connect: Web-based services that notify all parents in the event of school closings due to inclement weather, bomb threats, fires or other emergencies. All families need in order to participate in the system are a personal computer with internet access, land-line phone, or a cell phone. Teachers also will be able to notify parents of upcoming assignments, tests, or open houses without having to call individual parents. The service is being underwritten by Community Bank & Trust in Cheatham County and co-sponsored with NorthCrest Medical Center in Robertson County.
Scholarships: High school seniors in Cheatham County are selected each year to receive $1,000 scholarships based on financial need, academic achievement, and extracurricular and community participation. Recipients must be residents of Cheatham County for one year or more and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The program is administered by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. For an application, please visit The Community Foundation's website, check with a guidance counselor at Cheatham County High Schools, stop by any Community Bank & Trust office, or contact Elaine Reeder at (615) 792-3847 for more information.
Branch Activities: Throughout the year, each branch of Community Bank & Trust creates special programs to support their local schools and other non-profit organizations.
