Community Support

Strengthening Our Communities

We know that most people refer to their community as a place where they live, work and play. At Community Bank & Trust, we strongly believe our community is our livelihood. We believe in giving back to our community and are committed to serving the needs of our community in many different ways on a day-to-day basis.

In an effort to help strengthen our community, we have developed meaningful relationships with community leaders, elected officials, business leaders and various non-profit organizations. It is through these relationships that we can identify and address the specific needs and challenges each of our communities face.

Our goal is to invest in programs and projects that will enhance the quality of life and economic well-being of our communities. Our continued involvement and long-term investments in the communities we serve are a part of who we are and what our bank was founded on. We believe by helping our community, we are also helping our shareholders, our customers and our employees.

By allocating financial resources, volunteer support from our management and staff, as well as in-kind contributions, we can make a difference throughout our communities.

Education

Scholarship Program

Community Bank & Trust has a scholarship program which was a commitment of the original founders during organization in 1999. The original program provided a $500 scholarship to a deserving graduate from each of the three public high schools. In 2008, the Bank partnered with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to establish the “Community Bank & Trust Scholarship Fund” to be administered by the Foundation. At this time, the scholarship amount was increased to $1,000 for each public school.
