10 Year Anniversary
FREE SMALL BUSINESS SEMINAR SERIES
We are hosting the “SoHo Knowledge Series". These are free monthly seminars on a wide range of business topics of interest to small businesses. The first in the series will be “Building Blocks of a Small Business Marketing Plan,” held at the Community Bank & Trust at 3564 Tom Austin Highway in Springfield on Tuesday, March 9. Another session will be held at Community Bank & Trust in Ashland City at 575 South Main Street on Wednesday, March 10. Each session will begin with coffee, breakfast snacks and networking at 7:30 a.m., followed by the seminar from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Seminar participants will receive practical knowledge and take-away materials about using social media like Facebook to promote their small businesses.
The presenter for the first seminar in the SoHo Knowledge Series will be Julie Lunn, managing partner of RedRover Company. Ms. Lunn has over twenty years of marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America, First Horizon National, and Hilton Hotels. Her current practice helps small to mid-size businesses create and execute effective marketing and sales plans.
SoHo is short for “Small Office/Home Office,” a group of services designed by Community Bank & Trust for its small business customers and people who work from home. “We recognize that small businesses are the backbone of our communities,” said Elaine Reeder, VP Business Development for Community Bank & Trust. “And we also know that many of our customers, even if they work for larger businesses, work from home. ” All Community Bank & Trust business customers are automatically members of the SoHo Society and can take advantage of benefits like free wifi, large-screen televisions, Java Club coffee, color copier for their computer, buying stamps and more at all Community Bank & Trust offices.
The SoHo Knowledge Series is free of charge and open to all small business owners and people who work from home in Ashland City, Springfield, Kingston Springs, Pegram, and Pleasant View. Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served.
